Willie L. Andrews, lovingly referred to by his friends and family as “Bo,” 79, of Marshalltown, Iowa, returned to the arms of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He passed away at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines with his family by his side.
A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home of Marshalltown. Ordained Minister Earl Johnson and Deacon Ray Rockingham will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation one-hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Andrews; his children: Shawn Andrews, Tanya Fralin, Stephanie Andrews, Diana (John) West and DaJeane (Marcel) Oden; 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, Memphis, Tennessee; Siblings: Jearline (Robert) Davis, Jessie (Peggy) Andrews Jr., Joseph Andrews, Linda Andrews, Blanchie (Dwight) McGaughy and Daniel Andrews, St. Louis, Missouri; Siblings: Carol Dunning, Patricia Anthony, Dorothy (Virgil) Murphy, Jacksonville, Florida; Sibling, Gail Andrews, and Dallas, Texas; Sibling in-law: Charles White.
