John Sagar
John Link Sagar, age 92, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on August 29, 2024, at home with family. He was born on December 4, 1931, in Webster City, Iowa, to Verla Jean (Stuart) and Theodore Francis “Buster” Sagar.
A visitation will be held at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home, 1209 Iowa Avenue W, Marshalltown, Iowa on Wednesday, September 4th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A private graveside will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Iowa River Hospice and Elks National Foundation in John's memory. John is survived by his loving wife Helen; his sons Ken (Holly) Sagar and John (Emily) Sagar, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
