He is survived by his wife Betty; his three daughters: Molly (Mike Togersen), Abby, and Riley Dahms; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his two siblings: Kirk Dahms of Gladbrook, IA. and Jayne (David) Heath of Alexandria, LA.; his three brothers-in-law: Floyd Love, Bill (Donna) Love, and Bob Love; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
