He was the son of Alvin and Stella Storjohann, born July 3rd, 1960. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1979, eventually leaving Marshalltown and heading to Charles City. As time went on, he returned and began working at Lennox Industries until he retired in September 2023.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and playing cards most of his life. A trip to Alaska in 1998 was such a thrill for him, catching BIG fish on a chartered boat!

Dave will be forever missed by his brother, Steve (Alecia) Storjohann and his sister, Debie (Steve) Schmidt. He was fortunate enough a few years ago to reconnect with the woman who always had his heart, Connie. Dave had so many life-long friends, nieces and nephews, plus great-nieces and great-nephews, who will remember him always.

A celebration of life is planned for Wednesday, December 18th at “918” (Jake’s Pool Hall), located at 918 N 4th Avenue in Marshalltown, beginning at 3:00 P.M. A brief service and time of sharing will take place beginning at 5:00 P.M. Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Dave and his family.
