A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Mullikin will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation one-hour prior also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. He is survived by his three children: Alan (Bobbie) Savage, of Eldora, Jeff Savage, of Le Grand, and Deb (Eddie Garcia) Martin, of Nevada; his six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren and two sisters: Kate Hauptly, of Marshalltown, and Nita Harre, of Ankeny.
