Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 15th, 11:00 am at the Bangor Friends Cemetery, Bangor, IA.

Boeke Funeral of Hubbard is caring for Minnie and her family.

Minnie Marie (Bertram) Marble was born on January 31, 1934 to August and Minnie (Doddema) Bertram in Grundy County. Minnie had four siblings. She grew up near Dike and attended country school.

On November 19, 1955, Minnie was united in marriage to Ernest Hayden Marble at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Together they had three children: Steven, Nancy and Bruce.

They lived a short time in Amarillo, TX and found themselves back in Iowa just outside of Union. Minnie spent her life as a farmwife and homemaker.

Minnie loved playing cards with friends and neighbors. Minnie and Ernest enjoyed dining out and being social.

Minnie Marble passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Hubbard Care Center in Hubbard, IA.

Minnie is survived by her three children: Steven Marble, of Union, Nancy (Rick) Hoy, of Union, and Bruce (Sandy Gowdy) Marble, of Conrad; granddaughter Angela (Tanner) Ziesman; great-grandchildren: Heston, Maverick, Hartlynn, and Avery Ziesman; siblings Robert Bertram, Richard (Yvonne) Bertram, Ruth Barrow and Raymond (Judy) Bertram; sister-in-law Lou Marble; and many nieces and nephews.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Ernest, her parents, sisters-in-law Della Bertram and Sandra Bertram, brother-in-law Earl Barrow.
