Per the wishes of Jennie and her family, cremation rites will be accorded. A Memorial service by the family for Jennie will be held on May 9, 2025 at 10:30 am at Hope United Methodist Church. Memorials may be directed to Hope United Methodist Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the family. She is survived by her daughters: Judy (Rich) Amendt and Janet Keller, both of Marshalltown, IA, and Janean (Harlan) Benjegerdes, of Manly, IA; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her sister Shirley Slingluff, of Marshalltown, IA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
