A service celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family.

Pattie was born September 29, 1947, in Tama, Iowa, the daughter of Olin and Grace (Tressic) Dodge. She was a graduate of Marshalltown High School. Pattie married Paul “Buck” Warnell in 1964. They later divorced but remained friends.

Pattie worked at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and had a strong faith in God.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: David Warnell, of Holdrege, Nebraska, Robert (Leigh) Warnell, of Muskego, Wisconsin, Melanie (Mike) Campbell, of Freeland, Michigan and Eric (Tammy) Warnell, of Fairfield, Iowa; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren (with one on the way); her sister, Deborah Fuerman, of Ankeny, and her brother Terry Mills, of Marshalltown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steven Dodge; and former husband, Paul “Buck” Warnell.
