Phillip Drummer
Phillip Edward Drummer, 38, of Haverhill, IA passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at his mother’s residence in Haverhill. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, at Haverhill Cemetery. Following the service, everyone is invited for a time of fellowship at the Haverhill Social Club. Phillip was born April 20, 1987 to Randy Drummer and Julie Heil in Marshalltown, IA. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 2005. Phillip was employed as a delivery driver for Amazon. He enjoyed riding to school with his Aunt LuAnn. In his earlier years Phillip loved riding bikes all over town with his sister, Liz stopping often at Muddy Waters for Italian Sodas. Jumping on the trampoline with family was one of his favorite things to do. Phillip was the families go to person when it came to fixing their computers. He loved video games and walks in Des Moines. Traveling with his sister Liz was always a highlight for him especially vacations in Denver and Miami where they would never pass up a seafood buffet.
Phillip will be missed by his mother and stepfather, Julie (Curtis Sylvester) Johnson of Haverhill, his father and stepmother, Randy (Diana) Drummer of Altoona, IA. a sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Drummer of Des Moines, two brothers; William Johnson of Cedar Falls, IA, James Sylvester of Brooklyn, NY, maternal grandparents, Richard and Rosaline Heil of Marshalltown, and his furry friend, Oliver Drummer. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Drummer, paternal grandmother, Karen Goodman-Weiny, a aunt, LuAnn Warden, and his beloved game show host, Bob Barker.
Memorials may be directed towards family or to Iowa River Hospice.
