Carey Ann Kenner, 62, of Grimes, Iowa, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 11 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Per Carey’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and formal services are set for Saturday, June 14, 2025, beginning at 2:30 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held one-hour prior to services. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials in Carey’s name may be directed to her family for a later designation. Carey is survived by her daughter, April Stanley, of Clive; her brothers, Jeff Kenner, of Grimes and Chris Kenner, of Flower Mound, Texas; and her sister, Cathy Kenner Carkuff, of Marshalltown.
