Left to cherish his memory are: his mother, Julie Winters, of Marshalltown; his son, Easton Nail, of Ames; his sister, Jennifer Nail, of Marshalltown; and his grandmother, Ardis Winters, of Marshalltown. He is also survived by his nephews; numerous cousins and his good friends in Idaho.

Per Kellen’s wishes, cremation rites have taken place. A Family-Led Celebration of Kellen's Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 1:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the Cabin at Riverview Park. At a later date, Kellen will be laid to rest in Timber Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Kellen’s Family.
