In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lindo’s family.

Born at just 23 weeks, Lindo came into this world as a fighter–and he never stopped proving just how strong a little heart can be. Known affectionately as “Houdini” in the NICU for his uncanny ability to wriggle free from anything, Lindo kept everyone on their toes from day one. With his gorgeous curly hair, the most beautiful eyes, and a smile that could light up an entire room, he radiated joy even in the toughest moments.

Lindo had an incredible sense of humor and could find something to laugh about at the most unexpected times–often when it was least appropriate, making those around him laugh through their tears. His laughter was a gift, one of many he gave to the world.

He found joy in the simple, magical things: the songs of Moana, the colorful fun of Sesame Street, mighty dinosaurs and the timeless tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. These favorite stories and characters brought him happiness and reflected the wonder and bravery that defined him.

Though his time with us was far too short, Lindo made a lasting impact. He was truly an amazing little boy, a light in the lives of his family, caregivers and all who had the honor of knowing him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Elizabeth and Earl; siblings: Kitalynn Johnson, Alex Thomas, Hudsen Johnson, Alaric Fox, Arialyse Fox, Briella Fox, and Hazley Thomas; grandparents; John and Jeannette Harrison, and Paul and Sherry Thomas; great grandmothers, Arlene Thomas and Sue Harrison; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded by his uncles, Shane and Elijah Harrison, great grandparents: Violet and Everett Ross, Max Thomas, Chris Harrison, William “Charles” Phillips and Bonnie Utt.

Starting at $4.38/week.
