Richard Merfeld
Richard Earl Merfeld, 78, of Tama, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Sandy; his favorite daughters: Dawn Walker (Joe Witte) and Stacy Merfeld (Tim Kasal); four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters: Louise (Ed) Harn, Nancy ( Larry) Meier and Barbara (Mark) Embree; sisters-in-law: Marge (William) Eilers, Elverna (Gary) Hoffman; brother-in-law, John (Wendy) Capron; along with several nieces and nephews.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
