He is survived by his wife of 33 years Marlene, his sons Ryan (Bart), Brent (Amy), Craig (Sarah) and daughter Brandie (Kevin King), and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his five siblings: Robert, Susan, Sara, Greg and Lee.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday July 15 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Family will receive friends at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813. Flowers are appreciated but those who wish to honor George’s memory may make a donation to their favorite charity.
