Myron’s funeral service has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home of Marshalltown. Pastor Bob Kosbau will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 pm also at the funeral home. A graveside service with full military honors will take place on Wednesday, July 9th at Garwin Union Cemetery starting at 1:30 pm.

Myron is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy; his two sons: Scott (Melodie) and Randy (Michelle) DuToit, both of Altoona, Iowa; his five grandchildren; his two great grandchildren and his three siblings: Phyllis Konicek, of Garwin, Iowa, Jean Purdy, of Le Grand, Iowa, and Jane Ryerson, of Centerville, Ohio.
