Thomas Davenport
Thomas Aaron Davenport “Bemwetaka”, 65, of Tama, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Premier Estates of Toledo in Toledo, Iowa. A Traditional Wake was held Monday evening, June 30, 2025, at the Glenn Roberts’ Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.
Survivors include his niece and two nephews, sister-in-law Kristine Keahna, all of Tama; a granddaughter in Tama; a grandson in Ankeny; and adopted brother, Adrian Pushetonequa, of Tama.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
