Left to cherish Bill's memory are his wife of nearly 55 years, Karen; his sons, Chris (Denise), of Bloomington, IL and Ted (Kim), of Conrad, IA; and his five grandchildren.

Friends are welcome at 4:30 P.M. on Monday, July 28, 2025, for a rosary, with visitation being held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 P.M. following visitation. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi – St. Henry’s Catholic Church of Marshalltown. A private family burial will take place at the Elmwood – St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Mason City, IA. Memorial donations may be directed to the Oakview Nursing Home activity fund.
