Martha met and married Merwin Charles Stratton and they lived in California for over 53 years before moving back to Iowa in 2017.

Martha is survived by her children: Kevin Stratton, of Anita, Arlyn (Michael) Morris, of Altoona, and Nancy (Glen) Jackman, of Sagle, ID; grandchildren: Lauren Stratton, Jonathan Stratton, Rachel Stratton, Austin Morris, Miriam (Devin) Doggit, Amanda (Collin) DeClerk, Melissa (Tallin) Kretchmer and Reannan Jackman; and sister, Julie (Robert) Livers. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Visitation will be 9AM – 10 AM Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Ankeny Baptist Church, 2842 SW 3rd Street, Ankeny, IA 50023 with the funeral service following at 10 AM. A luncheon will be provided at the church prior to going in procession to Graceland Cemetery, 2558 330th Street, Laurel, IA 50141 where a 1:30 committal services will be held. All are welcome to join the family after the cemetery at Laurel Community Church, 209 S. Main Street, Laurel, IA 50141 for a light dessert and coffee.
