Rodney is survived by his sister Michelle (Jeff) Daggett and his two nephews and held a special place in his heart for his five great nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss his warmth and humor dearly.

Visitation for Rodney will be held on September 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Following this, a funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM. Interment at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to his family.
