Virginia chose to donate her body to Des Moines University Medical School and there will be an interment of ashes at a future date. Virginia is survived by her four children: Tom (Emily) Sharp, Bowling Green, KY; Gregg (Patti) Sharp, Des Moines; Dave (Dori) Sharp, Conrad; and Sara (Jan) Acker, Scottsdale, AZ. Virginia had eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
