Daniel Phillip Chyma, 77, of Tama, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Warren Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, Kelly (Naomi) Chyma, of Tama, and Dustin (Lynsey) Chyma, of Nashua; five grandchildren; his mother, Mary Chyma, of Toledo; three brothers: Todd Chyma, of Toledo, Rodney (Shannon) Chyma, of Marshalltown, and Paul (Rebecca) Chyma, of Toledo; one sister, Rosaland (Al) Smith, of Davenport; sister-in-law, Deanna (Loren) Willey, of Tama; and many nieces and nephews.
