Left to cherish Dawn’s memory are her life partner, Larry Armstrong, of Marshalltown, and his children and grandchildren; her daughters: Latisha Curtis and Candace Lester; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her father, David (Shirley) Powell; her brother, Shane Powell; along with several nieces and nephews.
