John L. Tompkins Jr.
John Lee Tompkins Jr., known affectionately as “Duke,” passed away peacefully, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and strength. He was a devoted father to John “Travis” Tompkins III., Natasha Gaydos and Lachelle Tompkins, and a proud grandfather of nine.
Per Duke and his family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no formal services have been scheduled at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
