Lotus Leighton Bear, 1, of Tama, passed away, Thursday, December 25, 2025, at UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown Hospital. A Traditional Wake was held Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Bear Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service was held Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama.
Survivors include his mom, Andriea; dad, Lucius; aunts and uncles; Grandma Kristy and Grandpa Andres; Grandpa Adolph, Koko Clydene; cousins; aunt and uncle.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
