Roger Lee “Lou” Walkup, 92, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Walkup; his children, Mark and Feng Walkup, Chris and Amy Walkup, and LuAnn and Rick Cape; his sister, Becky Walkup and six grandchildren.

Lou was a resident of the Iowa Veterans Home, and his family is especially thankful for the dedicated care teams who supported him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
