Trent Schiebel
Trent Schiebel, 59, of Glenwood, IA, formerly of Liscomb, IA passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Glenwood. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Grace Church in Marshalltown, IA. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Inurnment will be at the Liscomb Cemetery following a luncheon at the church. Anderson Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com.
Trent was born November 19, 1966, to Wayne and Judy (Beeghly) Schiebel in Grundy Center, IA. He was raised on a farm outside of Liscomb with his two brothers. While living at home, Trent enjoyed driving the golf cart while Wayne golfed with his buddies, riding in the combine, and fishing in the family pond and on vacation in Minnesota. His favorite things included the Iowa Hawkeyes, orange soda, and fast cars, especially his dad’s Challenger. Trent was sociable and liked having coffee with the guys at Casey’s and Conrad Tire with Dad.
Due to Trent’s disabilities, he was in a group home at Hope Haven in Rock Valley, IA and later at Glenwood Resource Center in Glenwood, IA. The last two years of Trent’s life were blessed by being in the home of John and Shannon Love and family in Glenwood, IA.
Trent is survived by his mom, Judy Schiebel of Liscomb, two brothers, Todd (Kristi) Schiebel of Conrad and Trevor (Christina) Schiebel of Liscomb, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his dad, Wayne Schiebel, and one brother, Bryan Schiebel.
