Left to cherish her loving memory are her children: Nadine (Kevin) Burke, of West Des Moines, Diane (Bill) Veren, of Punta Gorda, FL, Dan (Mary Ann) Billman, of State Center, and Randy Billman, of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren (plus one on the way); and her sister, Jean (Bob) Malechek, of Allen, TX.

Dorthy will be honored during services held at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation is scheduled for January 24, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
