Kerry lived in Emmett Township and attended Harper Creek High School. He enjoyed living on a small farm in Emmett Township where he was raised by his father and step-mother, Richard and Natala Logan.

Kerry worked in construction in several states: MI, FL, WA, TX, IA. He enjoyed the outdoors and social life with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Burge; his grandson, Austin Crawford and step-mother, Natala Logan.

He is survived by his father, Richard Logan; mother Kay Jacobs; brother Shannon (Sherri) Logan, of Marshalltown, IA; sisters: Kimberly Keagle, of Battle Creek, MI, Randie (Basil) Wolever, Orleans, MI. Step-sisters, Carla (Marty) Munn, Tala (Marcus) Prough, both of Battle Creek, MI and Gina (John) Trivelli, of Cocoa, FL.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
