Funeral services for Sherrill will take place at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM at Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma. Friends and family are also invited to attend a visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 11 also at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A family led reception will also be held at the Montezuma Presbyterian Church at 303 E. Washington St., in Montezuma, IA at 3:00pm following the graveside service. Left to mourn is her husband of 70 years, Ray; children: Diane (Jim) Lutz, of Mesa, AZ and Steve (Marlene) Anderson, of Apex, NC; daughter-in-law Vicki Anderson, of Conrad; her seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother-in-law Clark (Sherry) Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.
