Betty J. Runner, 80, of Marshalltown, IA, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 5, 2026, at First Congregational Church in Marshalltown. A visitation will begin 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Krouse, of Edmond, OK; a “favorite” niece in Austin, TX; “favorite” nephew in Edmond, OK; very close cousins, in Des Moines, IA; 3 in Marshalltown, IA; in Florida, in Louisiana; in Schaumburg, IL; in Minnesota, in Iowa City, IA and longtime family friend in LeGrand, IA.
