Cindy married the love of her life, Jon Keese. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Katy (Daniel) Strohm and Molly (Matthew) Vanden Top. Cindy adored her six grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved mother, Kay Karsjens; her sister Susan (Dan) Brozik; her brother Tim Karsjens; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were touched by her kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday February 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Attivo Trail, Celebration Room, 835 NE Boston Pkwy, Waukee, Iowa, 50263.
