Per Jim and his family’s wishes, cremation rites will take place. Visitation will be held at Mitchell Family Funeral home from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Friday, February 27, 2026. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the First Presbyterian Church of Marshalltown. Memorial donations may be directed to First Presbyterian Church in Marshalltown or to the donor’s choice.
