Those left to cherish that memory are his loving wife of 22 years, Jennifer and his two children: Landry and Jefferson, as well as his parents: John and Helen August; siblings: Heidi Mann and Trevor (Rebecca) August. He is also survived by his in-laws: Roger and Rose Groteluschen; brothers-in-law: David (Caitlin) Groteluschen and Mark (Mackenzie) Groteluschen; sister-in-law, Beth (Cameron) Sheets; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and the multitude of people that he has had the privilege of knowing throughout his life.

Funeral Mass for Jason will take place on Monday, March 30 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Parish: St. Henry Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends and family are also invited to gather and celebrate Jason’s life beginning with a Vigil Service at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 29 and a visitation to follow until 7:00 P.M. This will also take place at St. Henry’s. The family encourages attendees to dress in Iowa State gear or your favorite sport’s team attire.
