Richard "Rich" Goodman, 77, of State Center, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Iowa River Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, after courageously battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 48 years, Connie Goodman; his daughters, Laura and Sara (Shaun Lomas); his two adored granddaughters; his siblings: Donald Goodman, Jon Goodman, Madelyn Hawkins, Denise (Duane) Determan and Sheila (Gary) Gray; his sister-in-law, Linda (Bob) Casey; as well as many nieces and nephews.
