Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Brad (Sarah) Mauseth, of Marshalltown, and Brett Mauseth, of LeGrand; three grandchildren and two great-grandsons. He is also survived by his siblings: Karen (David) Hackett, Ella (Joseph) Pagan and Donna (Charles) Lester and his beloved pup.

Per Bill’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Bill will be laid to rest at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, near Adel. Memorial donations may be directed to the family for later designation.
