Amelia (Buffalo) Lasley
Amelia (Buffalo) Lasley, 81, of Tama, passed away, Thursday, April 1, 2026. A Traditional Wake was held Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service was held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.
Survivors include her children: Laurie (Javier), Larry Sr. (Marcine), Leigh, Allison, Orrie Jr. (Sonja) and Joey (Nana); 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Verna Davenport; brother, Johnathan L. Buffalo (Suzanne); many cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
