Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Lois; children: Darrin (Sonya) Eige, of Coralville, Andrew Eige, of Cedar Falls, and Christine Eige, of Marshalltown; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Per Denny and his family’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from noon until time of service. Denny will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be directed to the family for later designation to organizations near to Denny’s heart, including Marshall County Conservation Board and Our Savior Lutheran Church.
