Though Mary Lou has departed from this earthly plane, the warmth of her smile, the generosity of her heart and the legacy of her love remain deeply etched in the lives of all who knew her, including her six children: Charlotte Chadderdon, of Marshalltown, IA, Donna (Wayne) Loveland, of Devon, PA, Bonnie (Donnie) Kaufman, of Albuquerque, NM, Abie (Penni) Chadderdon, of Marshalltown, IA, Cindy (Kevin) Wood, of Payson, AZ, and Marilee Clites, of Wichita, KS; 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; and her sister Kathryn “Jeannie” (Henry) McGowan, of AZ.

Per the wishes of Mary Lou and her family, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will take place at New Hope Christian Church and will be announced at a later date. Memorials in her name may be directed to Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer awareness or the American Red Cross.
