Memorial services for Ricky will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. A visitation for family and friends will be held one-hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Those left to remember and cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Leila Davis; his children: Carey Meling, Amy (Jason) Dasch and Judy (Mike) Verbeek; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and his brother, Brian (Cindy) Davis. Additionally, he is survived by his two furry four-legged companions and special cousin along with numerous nieces and nephews.
