Danielle Seymour
Danielle Norene Seymour, Me-da-tti, 25, passed away Tues. May 12, 2026, peacefully and quietly in her sleep in the comfort of her home. Danielle contracted Covid in late February, which then began impacting her muscles and motor skill functions. She was on medical leave from her position as a 3rd grade para-educator at the Meskwaki Settlement School, where she loved her students and her position. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Meskwaki Tribal Center Gym, rural Tama. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Montour. Visitation was held Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5-8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Danielle is survived by her parents, Norm & Cheryl, brothers: Noah, Nathaniel and Liam; sisters: Addie, Ninajean, Zaidyn and Quora; two nieces and three nephews, all of Tama. Grandmother; Patsy Seymour, 7 Uncles; 2 Aunts. Grandparents Mike Stacey and Eloise Lasley, of Tama, along with many other relatives, extended family and her best friends.
