Denise (Vos) Emmert, age 72 of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2027, at Unity-Point Health - Allen Hospital.
In death, Denise is reunited with her parents: Paul and Ruth; in-laws, Ray and Helen Emmert; her husband of 45 years, Larry; and an infant sister, Doris. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Diann (Dave) Wadsworth, Donna (Terry) Holloway, and Don (Martha) Vos; nieces and nephews: Scott, Tricia, Amy, Jason, Leah, and Evan and their families; and her sister-in-law, Deloris and her family.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Per Denise's wishes, cremation rites will take place following her visitation. Memorial donations may be directed to the Animal Rescue League.
