Kathryn “Kathy” Prather (57) passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 under the care of Suncrest Hospice at Traditions Memory Care of Newton. Per Kathy’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
