Left to cherish his memory are Donna, his loving wife of 57 years; his two sons- Todd (Jill), of Bondurant, and Brett (Leslie), of Gladbrook; four precious grandchildren; his sister Jane (Bob) Dougherty, of Hamilton, IL and brother-in-law Randy Christensen, of Manson, Iowa, as well as other family and friends.

Per Mike’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until time of service, also at the funeral home. As Mike would prefer, please dress casually or in fishing attire.
