Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 55 years, Nancy; his children: Jill (Hoss) Tompkins and Mike Kerber; daughter-in-law: Kari (Jonathon) Bizios; four grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth (Ruth) Kerber; sister, Lynn Reymundo; brother-in-law, Jamie (Michelle) Snyder; three nieces; three nephews; along with many friends.

Per Owen’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 8, 2026, also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be directed to V Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Iowa River Hospice House.
