Funeral services for Clifford will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 P.M., also at the funeral home. Clifford will be laid to rest at the Albion Cemetery in Albion, Iowa. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carolyn; his three children: Wendy (Mike) Cope, of Beaman, Heidi (Jason) Weaver, of Albion, and Jason (Becky) Giesking, also of Albion; his six grandchildren; and one great‒granddaughter. He is also survived by his siblings: Clarene Schipper, of Ackley, Harrie Schares, of Denver, and Leann Espe, of Decorah; as well as several nieces and nephews.
