Kenneth “Kenny” Bacon
Kenneth (Kenny) Earl Bacon, 64, of Tama. It is with deep sorrow & profound love that we announce the passing of Kenny, who left us on Thursday June 25th at the University of IA Hospitals in Iowa City with his family at his side after a fearless battle with cancer.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Jill, of Tama, his daughter, Madeline (Brody) White, of Norwalk, one precious granddaughter in Norwalk. Mother Earlene Bacon, of Grinnell, Siblings: Lisa Bacon, of Grinnell, Laurie Gibson, of Marion, Brian (Anne) Bacon, of Ankeny, Brad (Dana) Bacon, of Sonoma, CA, sister-in-law Diana Spooner, of Bluffton, SC & several nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 18th, 2026, from 5-9pm at the Tama-Toledo Country Club.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
