With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Timothy (Tim) Charles Rohde (July 24, 1956 - July 19, 2026) just five days before his 70th birthday. Born in Marshalltown, Iowa, Tim spent much of his life in the Midwest before moving to Florida in 2016 with his wife to care for his aging mother and prepare for retirement. Throughout his career, he co-owned Main street Antique Mall in Marshalltown with his mother, was a dedicated real estate professional in Iowa and Florida. Tim worked part-time for Sherwin-Williams, and was well-known for his generosity as a handyman who was always ready to help a friend or neighbor in need. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart, his gift for storytelling, his infectious sense of humor, and his unique ability to bring laughter to any room. Tim loved golfing, fishing, boating and hunting. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Ronda Rohde, and his sister, Annette Rohde Wuest. His memory will be kept alive by his wife, Teri Rohde, his daughter, Amy (Nick) Crouse; his brother, Mark (JoDee) Rohde; and his sister, Melissa (Alan) McKean. He also leaves behind a large, loving family of step-children, cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren who will miss him greatly. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19, from 3pm-6pm at Elmwood Country Club. Friends and family are invited to attend. Donation can be made in his honor to: Broken Strings, 1402 13th St, Manson, IA 50563 www.broken-strings.org
