Harlan James Dirks, 95, passed away on Aug. 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at the Toledo First Presbyterian Church. Fellowship will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
Harlan is survived by his children: Valerie (Nathan) Behounek, Susan Harrison (Mike Roeder), Sandra Dirks and David (Ardella) Dirks; his seven grandchildren; his six great grandchildren; his two great-great grandchildren; his niece and his great-nephew and great-niece.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
