Kevin Schwartz, 66, of Marshalltown and formerly of Des Moines, passed away surrounded by his loved ones at his home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Lang; children: Christine (Michael) Benson, Josh (Penny) Schwartz, Michael (Jaime) Leo, and BJ (Cassie) Leo; daughters-in-law: Danielle Lang-Mauseth and Rebecca Bruno; and his 15 grandchildren; along with countless nieces, nephews, extended family members and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Per Kevin's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded after visitation. Kevin will later be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to his family or Iowa River Hospice.
