Laura Rinehart (Davis) passed away August 12, 2026, at Sunnyview Nursing Home at the age of 76. She was born in Marshalltown, Iowa. Her first job was at Zeno's working with her brother. She would later go to computer programing school and get a job at Fisher Controls. Laura married Larry Rinehart in 1974, and they both moved to Ankeny in 1983. After moving, Laura worked at Brenntag as an office manager in Des Moines, Iowa. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Adaline singing group. She was also a member of the Ladies Red Hat club. She loved to play the card game Bunko, quilt, and scrapbook.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, William Davis ad Virginia Davis; and her sister, Susie. She is survived by her husband, Larry Rinehart; her sons, Brandon Rinehart and Ashley Rinehart; her five granddaughters, Taylor, Emily, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Kristen; and her siblings, Bill and Carol.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Ankeny Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a luncheon during her Celebration of Life. The family requests for guests to dress casual.
